This is how they do it!!! (with poll)

Ok so I am sitting in a class right now at the Catholic University of America (I conveniently have my computer with me) and I am listening to my Professor ramble on in my class politics of the 1960s... Here is what is interesting... my professor just so happens to be a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation (VOMIT!!!)... and I have figured out exactly how they do it...

In this "great class" focussed on the politics of the 1960s I just spent 30 minutes listening to my professor spout off talkign points about Bush and how he is bouncing back and how he has stimulated the economy etc etc etc...

I never realized how blatant they are about passing their talking points down...

I wish I could tape this class and play it back to the Kossacks and company who have pondered the concept of conservative "indoctrination"... I have spent a lot of time at a very conservative university but I have never EVER seen it this blatant...

From time to time here (when the students care enough to pay attention) we have a little bit of a liberal uprising... but for the most part I have come to terms that CUA is a conservative place (and Im fine wiht that) but right now I feel like I am listening to a lecture at Bob Jones or Liberty University...

I am seriously shocked that groups like Heritage have been able to infiltrate schools they see as friendly to their cause  and just spout off their talking points. Inthe past semester the prof has started the class saying its a great day to be alive "especially if your Name is John roberts" "especially if your name ISNT Harriet Miers" "especially if your name IS SAMUEL ALITO!!!". He spend time spouting talking points for the administration and pikcing apart the "liberal establishment" etc etc...

Here is my question... why do we let them get away with it? How can we get students to realize they are just listening to talkign points?
